Kantarin Leelahuta is a Thai novelist who began writing at age 12 and has since published over 78 titles under the pen name Pretty Princess. Her breakout novel One Night Stand, co-written with Baison, was adapted into a TV series in 2023 and released in English by Penguin Random House SEA in 2024. Several of her works have also been adapted for television, including Oh My Boss (2021), Girl Next Room (2020), Boy for Rent (2019), and U-PRINCE: The Foxy Pilot (2016).
A graduate of Thammasat University with a degree in Journalism, Kantarin has always seen storytelling as her true calling. While she’s on track to reach her 100th book, her ambition extends beyond numbers—she aims to grow her global readership and build a lasting creative legacy.
Fluent in Thai, English, and Japanese, she also works in language localization, bringing Japanese video games to Southeast Asia in their native languages.
A self-described night owl, Kantarin prefers writing after dark, with music and the occasional drink—just enough to spark inspiration without stalling the story. Now based in Singapore, she continues to write while missing her 20 cats back home in Bangkok.
